About the Conference

International Conferences "Colon Hydrotherapy for the Modern World" are organised and run by the International Register of Integrative Colon Therapists and Trainers (RICTAT)

The goals of these Conferences are:

- to raise awareness of the benefits of colon hydrotherapy within the medical and holistic communities;

- to attract new high quality professionals into the colon hydrotherapy field;

- to maintain the highest standards of training and continuing professional development of colon therapists;

-to get colon hydrotherapy accepted as an essential part of health promotion; bowel cancer prevention; anti-ageing programmes and general self-maintenance;

- to work towards universally high standards of client care and hygiene;

- to make colon hydrotherapists and other integrative professionals aware of the latest research in the fields of gastrointestinal health, nutrition, immune support and the neuroendocrine function which is relevant to the colon therapy profession.

The First International Conference "Colon Hydrotherapy for the Modern World" took place in Maidenhead, Berkshire, on 10 November 2010. In total, 101 colon hydrotherapists from the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Dubai, France, Turkey and Australia had attended our First Conference.

The Second International Conference "Colon Hydrotherapy for the Modern World" and professional development seminars took place in Maidenhead, Berkshire, on  1 and 2 November 2011. Around 100 colon hydrotherapists, Presidents of international associations and exhibitors from the UK, the USA, Ireland, Portugal and Dubai had attended our Second Conference.

The Third International Conference "Colon Hydrotherapy for the Modern World" took place in Maidenhead, Berkshire on the 29th & 30th October, 2012. The conference was attended by over 100 delegates from the UK, Europe, Dubia, South Africa & Australia.
